Stanley Film Festival 2015

The Stanley Film Festival has just announced its lineup – and, as usual, it looks amazing: an exciting mix of new and classic fear films. I hope you can join me and the rest of the attendees for all the fun — at the historic Colorado hotel that inspired Stephen King to write THE SHINING, and where we shot the miniseries!

One of this year’s highlights will be a special 30th Anniversary screening of RE-ANIMATOR (1985), Stuart Gordon’s seminal adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s tale. I will be hosting a chat with Stuart at the event. The Festival will also be presenting Stuart with its Masters of Horror Award.

Other festival screenings will include new films by Adrian Garcia Bogliano, Takashi Miike and Ham Tran. The closing night film will be Todd Strauss-Schulson's THE FINAL GIRLS. Retrospective screenings will include Henri-Georges Clouzot’s DIABOLIQUE (1955), Roman Polanski’s REPULSION (1965) and David Cronenberg’s SHIVERS (1975). All that, and a whole lot more!

The festival runs from April 30th to May 3rd. For more information, visit the festival’s website here.
